“Twenty years ago your loving care helped me to become a mother – more recently, to accept my pain as part of me rather than an intruder from outside. I will always be grateful. ” – E
Dr. Harsh has a strong interest in a balanced approach (both western and eastern medicine) to women’s health. After a thorough assessment, she and her client decide the best plan of action, whether it is through functional medicine and nutritional assessments or a course of acupuncture treatments. She has a passion for working with couples who are interested in optimizing fertility with or without medical intervention, women with irregular cycles either due to fibroids or PCOS, perimenopausal women and post menopausal women. She has experience with both hormonal and non-hormonal treatments for menopausal symptoms. She has been prescribing bioidentical hormones (both compounded and pharmaceutically available) for over twenty years.
“Acupuncture & Dr. Harsh’s sincere words were enhancers to a tremendous pregnancy. She also helped me release self-judgment, not only during the pursuit of a child but more importantly during my tornadic experience of the postpartum world. Each visit washed the hormonal haze cleaner and eventually I felt open again. Thank you Dr. Harsh for you have touched my soul. You had a profound part in the miracle of my pregnancy.” – J
Her knowledge and experience in functional and integrative medicine include nutragenomics, the genetic individuality of nutritional balance, and nutritional testing for food sensitivities. Between food sensitivity testing, supplement management and acupuncture treatments, she has an excellent track record treating irritable bowel syndrome and chronic constipation. She also can balance stress hormones (catabolic) and sex hormones (anabolic) and screen for optimal estrogen metabolism.
Her passion is to continue to ground her knowledge of new science in the ancient traditions of eastern medicine. She is exploring and applying an elemental awareness of the menstrual cycle with water, fire, air and earth. Her ultimate goal is clients who are educated and engaged in the cycle of life.
“I sought out a doctor who would help mend in me what I thought was broken.  Dr. Claudia brought peace and contentment to my heart and healed my spirit in a way that made the miracle of my son possible.  I will forever sing her praises as I believe she truly does the work our Creator intended doctors to perform.” – D.
